Mr. Donald Wilczak has been chosen as Peoplelink’s March Shining Star employee. Donald works in the Knee General Manufacturing Department of Biomet. He reports to the Warsaw, Indiana Peoplelink branch.
Donald has been with Biomet since he joined Peoplelink in March of 2011. He has transferred between 3 different departments to meet the needs of the business. In his current position in the Tibial Knee Manufacturing Department, he is responsible for a wide variety of duties including quality inspection, packaging, and performing cleaning, laser etch, and passivation operations to various knee components. His attention to detail, work ethic, and high quality work make him an invaluable asset to the team.
His Supervisor, Dennis Kinsey, speaks highly of Donald, stating, “Donald is very knowledgeable. He does an excellent job. We would like to hire him full time.” One of the reasons for Donald’s success at Biomet is his ability to take ownership of any issues that come up in his area and resolve them before they become bigger problems.
Donald was born and raised in Michigan City, Indiana. He joined the Marine Corps at age 17 and continued on to have a military career of 20 years. He enjoys working closely with machinists at Biomet to produce medical devices that change the lives of people from all walks of life. In his spare time, Donald likes to boat, fish, do home improvement projects, and repair computers.
